No Dive, No Fun! AQUABASE welcomes certified divers in Kuching for a full programme of exciting daily diving activities. Explore one of the best shipwrecks from WW2, beautiful coral gardens, and unexpected underwater world of Sarawak. Non-divers and snorkellers are also welcome to join us on our dive boat.

DIVE SITE - DAMAI AREA

We have daily dive and snorkeling trips leaving from the beach of our Resort.
Here in Kuching, we have coral fringed islands and some large ship wrecks like cargo ship, battle ship and submarines from WW2. Coral reefs are about 5 to 15m in depth and the ship wrecks are all around the 15 to 35m maximum depth, some current is usually present but normally not so strong. During the season (April to September), Visibility from 5 to 25m. Since Kuching's underwater is still very untouched, we are now cultivating new dive sites to introduce more about underwater. Now Kuching's silence will be revealed with AQUABASE...

| Basic Itenary

8:00am: Registration and preparation at the A.BASE
9:00am: Boat departure
9:30am: 1st Dive
10:30am: Surface Interval
11:30am: 2nd Dive
1:00pm: Boat returns to the A.BASE
1:30pm: Boat departure
2:00pm: 3rd Dive
3:30pm: Boat returns to the A.BASE

- Meet us at 8:30am sharp at A.BASE of Damai Puri Resort & Spa.
- We currently don't provide land transfer to & from your hotel except Damai area.
You however want to take either shuttle bus or taxi over to us.
- Lunch is not provided but we have cafe and restaurants in the property.
- The schedule can be changed due to the weather and sea condition, number of divers, and divers level.

Simple Rule

All diving activities are followed by PADI(Professional Association of Diving Instructors) rules. All dives are planned within non-decompression limits and feature a 3-5 meter safety stop. Never flight or go higher than 200m ASL on the same day after experiencing scuba diving. All diving courses must be booked by at least one day prior to the date. It is all our instructor availability.

Medical and Health

Asthma, diabetes, epilepsy and heart diseases are some of the disqualifying factors for scuba diving. If you worry about your health condition, discuss with our instructor. Be sure to meet your doctor and follow their advice if you have medical problems with your health for diving.

Liability Release and Assumption of Risk

AQUABASE can not be held liable for and will not be responsible for personal injuries, property damage, or psychological stress and wrongful death that may occur during activities, as a result of the inherent risks associated with scuba diving or as a result of acts or omissions of other third parties. For frequent divers, we would highly recommend looking at insurance with DAN Asia/Pacific that you can register. Diving requires a certification from a recognised dive agency such as PADI. It is your responsibility that you are suitably qualified, and provide proof of such qualification upon request, to participate in any scuba activities prior to you taking part. Such activities include all activities other than PADI Open Water Diver or Scuba Diver Course, or Discover Scuba Diving activities that allow participants to take part without a license.

Weather maters on the departure. Bookings cancelled due to weather or circumstances beyond the control of us will be rescheduled or are subjectto a full refund. Please inform us of any changes to your booking at the soonest opportunity.
